ABC of Gandhi : Published in 2008, the book is unique in its content and format, in that Gandhiji’s ideals have been compiled in alphabetical order. The book has been compiled and edited by Professor Narendra Sharma.

Gandhi Ganga : This is a collection of insightful articles written by Gandhiji himself and his stalwart compatriots like Acharya Vinoba Bhave, Mili Graham Polak, Kaka Kalelkar, Umashankar Joshi, Ghandshyamdas Birla, etc. The book was first published in 2008, with the second edition following soon in 2010. The compilation and editing is done by Dr. M. B. Shah.

Aple Gandhi : The title and essence of the book is ‘Our Gandhi’. It was originally written by scholar and staunch Gandhian Narayanbhai Desai in Gujarati. Its Marathi translation was published by the Foundation in 2009; the authors are Dr. M.B. Shah and Dr. Vishwas Patil.

Satyagrahi Gandhi : Also written by Dr. Vishwas Patil, the book was published in 2011. True to its name, the theme and objective of the book is to highlight the Styagrah (passive resistance) concept of Gandhiji and how he used it as an effective tool in his various struggles, beginning from South Africa and then taking roots in the numerous fights of freedom in India. Satyagrah is dealt both as a concept and a movement in the narrative of the book.

Samarpit Gandhi : It portrays the undying dedication and commitment of the Mahatma towards his country and his countrymen. The book was published in 2011, and is written by Dr. Vishwas Patil.

Books under publication

Sant Sangati : This is an innovative work depicting the lives of like-minded associates of saintly Gandhi. One can say that they were the pious, spiritual companions of Gandhiji who shared and drew from the chaste, frugal life of Gandhiji.

Gandhi Katha : One of Narayanbhai Desai’s major contributions to the society is Gandhi Katha or the life story of Gandhiji, told live from a dais. It is developed in a lyirical story-telling style, and has become very popular for its simple yet effective manner of connecting with the masses. GRF has undertaken the Hindi publication of this story in a book form. The compiling and editing is done by Dr. Yogendra Yadav.
